How can we prepare for our engagement session?
I appreciate when clients send pictures of their outfits before a session. That way, we can plan the location bearing in mind what you will be wearing. You don’t want to clash with your surroundings. We’ll pick a location that’s best for you and, if you don’t have one in mind, I can absolutely help you plan that out.
What should I expect during a headshot session?
We will guide you through the process, including posing, wardrobe We changes, and direction on facial expressions. The shoot may take anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour, depending on the number of shots needed.
When is the best time to book for newborn?
I usually recommend booking your session after your 20-week scan. This may sound early but at this scan you will be given a more accurate idea of when your baby will arrive. It will also guarantee my availability when your baby does arrive. I only take on a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can ensure flexibility if your penciled-in date needs to be moved.
When should we schedule our engagement session?
Most couples start looking to schedule within a few weeks after being proposed to. I love when clients want to go to coffee with me beforehand, just to get a feel for if I’m a good fit for them. You want to choose someone you trust and enjoy being around because, trust me, we will be by your side every step of your big day!!
What should I wear for a headshot?
You should wear clothing that is clean, lint free, neat, and appropriate for the industry or purpose of the headshot. Solid colours, non reflective options are our recommendations, fine patterns or other company logos should be avoided.
What is the best age for a newborn photo shoot?
traditional newborn photo shoots are usually captured during the first 2 weeks, you can still have beautiful pictures of you and your newborn even if they are are older.
Policies
Delivery time frame
We deliver the online gallery within 20 days after the session. more time might be needed to accommodate your additional customizations.
Cancellation policy
If the shoot can be rescheduled there will be no additional fees for the customer. Session will only be cancelled and a full refund given in the most extreme circumstances.
Payment policy
50% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking, 50% remainder due prior to the photoshoot.
License policy
We retain copyright over the Photographic Work and is able to use it for self-promotion. The client may make unlimited reproductions of the Photographic Work for family and friends both online and offline.
